How to install cordova ionic

Installation of Cordova and ionic which are frequently install together can't be installed directly. These frameworks are installed through command prompt. In this post  you will learn how to install Cordova and ionic framework.

For installation for Cordova NAD ionic we need to install a third party toll node js. You can down this from here. Once you downloaded install this software. To check proper installation of node js open command prompt and type npm. If the output is as shown below then no problem but if this is not the output reinstall the node js.

Next step is open command prompt and type following code

npm install -g Cordova

Above code is for Cordova installation once you hit enter it's gonna take some time for installation. For installation of ionic you need to type the following code

npm install -g ionic

Enable "Always on Top" feature in windows

"Always on top" is not enabled in windows by default.and also there is no way in system by which you can enable it the only way to enable this feature is by using a third party application. in this post you will learn how to enable "Always on Top" feature in windows.

Low cost calling Ringo is awesome

Last week I installed an low cost calling app Ringo. This app allows users to make calls all across India with only ₹0.19 paisa per minute. Initially when I installed the app got ₹10 as staring balance. For every call made by your invitation you will get ₹10 credit in your Ringo balance. If you ran out of balance you can recharge Ringo online. I made my first call to my village the call quality was awesome but the only problem which I faced was some lag in audio. Which was not large enough or noticeable.

You first dial the number to which you want to make call in Ringo dialer. 

Call will automatically disconnect by saying "ringo will call you in a moment" immediately you will receive call from ringo. Asking you to wait while they connect once once you connected you normal call routing starts i.e. ring-ring.

A 10 minute call cost around 1 rupees. Which surprised me.

So how is this low cost calling is made possible. The answer is in order to promote BPO business India BSNL under the Ministry of telecommunation launched a scheme under which companies can buy minutes in bulk at a very cheap price around ₹ 0.10m so Ringo buys minutes in bulk from BSNL and offer them to users. This created a huge controversy telecom operators allege Ringo of misusing this scheme. And within two days this leads Ringo to stop it's Ringo domestic call service. The case is in court so will have to wait for the judgment until then we have to wait.

How to prepare for OCA/OCP examination

OCA and OCP are java certification examination offered by Oracle. these exams have very High reputation in industry. A candidate applying for a job having OCA/OCP certification in his resume is more likely to be selected for the job than the other candidates who are not certified from oracle. So it' important to have a certification but getting Oracle certified Associate and Oracle certified Professional certification is not an easy job.OCA exams are quiet tough which test your ability to code, debug and logic to an extreme level. So it requires a lot of efforts.

In this post I gonna show you how to prepare for these examination before SUN systems aquasition by Oracle in 2009 these two examination where offered together in a single pack. Candidates were required to give only one exam. But now this program is divided in to two section OCA and OCP. To become eligible for OCP one should first clear OCA exam and then he can go for OCP.

OCA is basically covers the basics of java in depth. If you are thinking I know everything about basics then you may got wrong when you start studying you will find that you knew nothing. For those who are completely new to programming they must pursue the  java basics. There are various books available in market but one which I prefer is OCA/OCP Java SE 7 Programmer I & II Study Guide by Oracle press. Also there is an online program for certification by Oracle which you can prepare for exams.

Learning and practice is the best way to prepare this kind of exams. Once you completed one chapter you should immediately go with questions related to that chapters. Examination are held online by Pearson for oracle at different examination point. It's a good practice to practice in a simulation software which simulate the actual exam. Download the dumps of previous years. And practice those in simulation software this will make you comfortable while giving exam in examination center. Study at least 2 hours a day. And in weekends study as much as you can. It's your hard work that gonna land you to success.

How to Install Ubuntu in dual mode

Installation guide:

First of all download the latest Ubuntu iso file from Ubuntu website once downloaded either burnnthia on a DVD or in a bootable pen drive. Insert pen drive in USB slot or insert DVD and restart your system. Keep pressing F12 until a screen appears showing window shown below.

Either you can try Ubuntu before installing or you can directly install Ubuntu. Once you click on install ubuntu. A new window will appear.

Click on continue. Select your internet WiFi network you can skip this step. But it's a good practice to test whether your internet is working with Ubuntu or not. 

Once you are connected to your Wi-Fi network. After this select install Ubuntu alongside windows. This will install Ubuntu alongside your current windows OS. 

Allocate space to install Ubuntu on your system. Click in install now button. This will start the installation. once installed the system will boot up to Ubuntu. And its ready to use.
