How to Install Ubuntu in dual mode

When it comes to most preferred Linux platform them most of user opt for Ubuntu. Ubuntu is a free Linux based operating system which comes with nice UI and has a clean interface. In this post you will learn how to install Linus step by step.


 
Installation guide:
Ubuntu can be booted either from a DVD or a pen drive. Pen drive can be made bootable by using USB flash software. Which is an open source software freely distributed over the internet.  

First of all download the latest Ubuntu iso file from Ubuntu website once downloaded either burnnthia on a DVD or in a bootable pen drive. Insert pen drive in USB slot or insert DVD and restart your system. Keep pressing F12 until a screen appears showing window shown below.



Either you can try Ubuntu before installing or you can directly install Ubuntu. Once you click on install ubuntu. A new window will appear.



Click on continue. Select your internet WiFi network you can skip this step. But it's a good practice to test whether your internet is working with Ubuntu or not. 


Once you are connected to your Wi-Fi network. After this select install Ubuntu alongside windows. This will install Ubuntu alongside your current windows OS. 


Allocate space to install Ubuntu on your system. Click in install now button. This will start the installation. once installed the system will boot up to Ubuntu. And its ready to use.
