it's very annoying when you have to forcefully see the notifications which you don't want to.that is the case with me right now.i am getting Google+ notifications from google even though i am not at all interested in it. so,i found the solution to get rid of this problem which is quiet easy.
you just need to disable the notification from that particular Google+ page or group.
Steps to Disable notifications:
you are done now.Disable the notifications of all that pages which you don't want to see at all.

- go on Google+ page of that notification which you want to disable.
- this can be done by just double clicking on the notification.
- on the top left side click on "Notification on" button.
- this will disable the notification alert of that particular page.
you are done now.Disable the notifications of all that pages which you don't want to see at all.
